TZ Project

TZ Project is an online store for computer hardware: catalog, product pages, cart and checkout. A project to learn how to build a complete e-commerce site with an end-to-end JavaScript stack.

Full-stack developer, from the data model to the front-end.

The back-end is an Express API connected to MongoDB through Mongoose. Products, categories and orders are documents, which makes product pages with variable attributes easy to manage.

The front-end is a React application consuming the API, with a client-side persistent cart.

A catalog with heterogeneous attributes is a good fit for a document database. I also measured how much rigor order state management requires, even on a small project.
